Pretty bad flu

I got a pretty bad flu during the weekend. I had high fever, stuffy nose in last couple days. Can't do much except resting and taking medication. It's my body telling me to rest... Hope you all well!

Finally, we finish all the touch up work (yeah!!). You can view and order the pictures through this link. It'll bring you to an online ordering site. All the pictures can be viewed online. To order, simply click on individual pictures and select the size. We found out that the system does not allow customer to stack 'discount packages'. So, instead of having 20% off over $100 order. Carters Gymnastics Pictures will be ready within next couple days!

I got inquiries from some of you about the availability of the pictures. I know you can't wait to see all the pictures. I really want to finish them because they look so good and I'm sure you'll enjoy them very much as well. We're working very hard to finish the touch up (including fixing the background, have to remove the seams between the two backdrops in the middle for most of the group pictures). Carter's Gymnastic Portrait

Had a chance to shoot the team portraits of Carter's Gymnastics Academy. Jack and Erin are top notch gymnastics coaches in Arizona. Their gymnasts spend a lot of hours weekly in training. Their success is the results of hardwork and talent. Hope they will have great success in the year of 2008.








Profoto D4 pack is used to light up the gym. There is plenty of power to override the in house ambient light (capable to deliver 4800W of power).

Aperture 2.0

Apple release a new version of Aperture. The Aperture is a pioneer software in photo editing. If you like Lightroom and you should check out Aperture. It's a great one-stop tool from RAW image to book print and web slideshow. I enjoy using Lightroom in my workflow but I see some cool new features from Aperture for healing/fixing and vignetting. It'll definitely save you a lot of time in your workflow... For Windows user, you'll need to get a mac to use Aperture:)

G2 Promotion Shoot in NFL

Last week, I had a chance to help Yeung Photography to shoot the launch of Gatorade G2. The team from UPP Entertainment Marketing is very professional and fun to work with. Emily, Carrie, Laura, Sabrina and Rigo is a great team. They worked almost round the clock during the NFL week in Phoenix to make the promotion happen. RA Sushi was there serve the party. Their sushi is great!

Chinese New Year in GPCCC

It'll be Chinese New Year on this Thursday (Feb 7th). It's the year of the Rat. Check out this link about the calendar and zodiac of Chinese astrology. GPCCS (Chinese School) had a special performance on Sunday to demonstrate the Chinese Culture. The Youth from GPCCC performed Lion Dancing and Umbrella Dancing. The children really enjoyed the performance.
